Cidade Matarazzo: Reclaim the Space

In September of this year, during the 31st São Paulo Biennale, doors to the old Hospital Matarazzo were opened for the first time in decades. 100 artists were invited to "invade" and make the space their own, without rules or limitations, for an exhibition that would never be seen again.

Curator Marc Pottier, founder Alexandre Allard and artists Oskar Metsavaht and Artur Lescher explain the significance of a space that Allard hopes will become a new creative hub for the city.
