Kutiman Mixes Tel Aviv

The Space and British Council have jointly commissioned Mix The City as an innovative example of how combining music, participatory technology and the internet can connect communities and provide a different perspective on famous cities around the world.

The website lets you make and share your own music mix from a set of 12 video clips of Tel Aviv based musicians, enabling you to take a musical tour of the city.

Youtube sensation Kutiman kicked off the project with his highly creative vision of Tel Aviv.

The artist has also mixed other cities like Tokyo and in 2009, Time listed the project as one of their top 50 inventions of the year.

Leading British creative agency Flying Object and digital production company Roll Studio worked with Kutiman to create the interactive site.

The Space commissions new, innovative digital art, profiling artists and their work online. It's a non-for-profit public service for artists and audiences with a global remit, set up orginally by the BBC and the Arts Council England.
