LC:M 2015 - Meet Snake & Dagger

South London born and bred, Roy Westfield and Bayo Lasaki met when they were boys, where they took part in a two year fashion design programme organised by their local youth centre. Despite having caught the fashion bug and maintaining a genuine interest in clothes, both pursued different paths.

But, annoyed with the lack of quality denim on the market, Bayo and Roy went back to their roots, started Snake & Dagger and began a journey which would ultimately lead them to Japan and some of the rawest, purest denim in the world. Besides indulging in karaoke, much to dismay of friends, they forged valuable partnerships with local producers, factories and sewers.

Their design philosophy incorporates old-fashioned manufacturing traditions, meticulous ageing techniques and treatments to create jeans that look like they've been lived in for years.

LC:M 2015 saw them show on their home turf for the first time, despite having been in successful business for years.
