Work: Yung Gleesh

Washington D.C.'s Yung Gleesh was once a member of TOB, the "Jackson Five of Go Go" – the city's unique, funk-inspired musical scene. Since picking up the mic, he's worked with the likes of Chief Keef, A$AP Rocky and Gucci Mane, releasing a series of mixtapes. Here Gleesh takes us on an exclusive ride through his hometown, where poverty, politics and power sit uneasily together  – "Pennsylvania Avenue, that thing goes through the 'hood and to the White House. You see a big difference."
